Social and Emotional Wellbeing
The social and emotional wellbeing is the foundation of any academic learning, for any person. We have a number of strategies and approaches to support both students and adults in this area.
- Daily mindfulness for both students and staff
- Lunchtime clubs organised by students
- Vertically grouped clubs once a week: Gardening, Cooking, Science, Textiles, The Arts, Outdoor activity, Self awareness
- Student buddy program
- We employ Learning Support Officers who work at developing relationships across the school and provide students with additional needs extra one on one support.
- We have a Wellbeing team of staff who specifically support students with additional needs, both emotionally and academically.
